Life is unfair

A deer cannot complain why he is a deer and not a Lion. Clearly, the Lion has some advantages over deer that is why he is the predator and deer is the prey. That is just how Nature is.

There are some people in the world that have all the good stuff. Great genetics, great talents, great parents, great environments and great country. Some people are just born in relatively perfect conditions.

At the same time, there are people born disabled, having some sort of learning disabilities, some genetic flaws, with abusive parents, in a rotting country.

And then there are people who lie somewhere in between the spectrum. Between these two extremities.

Some religious people try to explain this by “Deeds of the past life” theory, which I honestly do not believe at all. I believe that it is just plain luck.

A person does not control whether he will be rich or poor, a girl or boy, diseased or healthy. They can’t choose the parents, the country, the religion, the circumstances. It is all just plain luck.

Having said that I do strongly believe in this quote believed to be said by Bill Gates:

“If you are born poor it is not your mistake but if you die poor it is your mistake.”

No matter how harsh of a dice Life has rolled you, I believe that over a life span a person can improve his/her quality of life through his own efforts and they should. And if they die poor and miserable just like they were born then it is absolutely their fault.

Nick Vujicic, a man with no arms and no legs is one prime example.
